Portland Roads Beach Shack is in far north Queensland opposite weipa, on the western side of the cape. Visitors can hire a vehicle or we can arrange transport to Portland roads and the beach shack.
40 k south is the lockhart river indigenous community and a couple of k out of lockhart is the iron range airport. We are approx 10-12-hours drive from cairns and much of the road is unsealed, suited well to 4wd vehicles.
Road is unsealed but in good condition.
